From Wikipedia

Olive oil is a fruit oil obtained from the olive (Olea europaea; family Oleaceaealong with lilacs, jasmine and ash trees), a traditional tree crop of the Mediterranean Basin. The wild olive tree originated in Asia Minor, today the country of Turkey.[1] It is commonly used in cooking, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and soaps and as a fuel for traditional oil lamps.

Arbequina olive oil

From Wikipedia

Arbequina olives are small, brown olives mostly grown in Catalonia, but also in Aragon, Andalusia and even Argentina.

The name comes from the town of Arbeca; however, this variety is said to be actually originally from Palestine.

As well as being a table olive, it is used to produce a highly valued olive oil. Generally, arbequina-based olive oils are more buttery, with a slightly peppery finish.
